OKADIGBO CAMPAIGNS IN THE SOUTH-EAST: MEETS ANPP LEADERS
Former President of Senate and of the All BiafraNigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) presidential aspirant, Dr. Chuba Okadigbo has commenced a tour of the five south-east states meant to meet with the leaders of the party in the zone. Okadigbo who has already met with leaders and political aspirants in Anambra state said he was embarking on the tour to "rub mind" with the leaders of the ANPP in the area and explore ways of working with them to achieve victory for the party in 2003. WE WON'T WITHDRAW SUIT: PDP GUBER ASPIRANTS DEFY OBASANJO
Despite the pleadings of the expanded na-tional caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) asking its gubernatorial aspirants to discontinue their court case challenging the guidelines adopted for the conduct of governorship primaries, the aspirants have vowed to pursue the suit to its logical conclusion. Senator Haruna Abubakar, Chairman of the forum of non-incumbent governorship aspirants at a press conference yesterday in Abuja, said the aspirants arising from disagreements...
