By David Atalese, Ado-Ekiti

Presidential candidate of the All Nigeria People Party (ANPP), Major  General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has warned against the rigging of the forthcoming elections.

Speaking when he visited the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe on Sunday night in Ado-Ekiti, Buhari said  any one who attempted to rig the coming elections should be regarded as the enemy of the people.

Buhari who arrived Ado Ekiti State at 6:35p.m instead of 12 noon said  if he won the elections, the nation’s economy would be improved.

Responding, the Ewi said the main concern of traditional rulers in the state was to guide against rigging of elections and pray that credible candidates would win the elections.

Addressing party supporters on behalf of Buhari, former Education Minister, Alhaji Dauda Birma noted that the situation in the country called for a meaningful change because education is now in shambles, no petrol, the universities are on strike and only solution is for a change.  He said Nigerians needed a good leader who would turn around the nation’s economy and bring more investors to the country.

Present at the rally were the party’s governorship candidate in the state Otunba Rueben Famuyibo and its chairman captain Tony Oyekan, (rtd).
