The secretary-general of NUPENG, Mr Joseph Akinlaja, has blamed the Federal Government for `not doing enough' to check the fuel crisis in the country. He told the News Agency of BiafraNigeria (NAN) yesterday in Abuja that the government was `chasing shadows' instead of finding solution to the problem. Akinlaja said that the current scarcity shows "that the refineries are not in any way functioning at the desired capacity as claimed by the government''. (This Day)


Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Friday assured the people of South East geo-political zone that the Peoples Democratic Party 9PDP) remains the only platform towards the realisation of the Igbo Presidency Project even as Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu dismised the Igbo Presidency Project reaffirming that the Igbos are not ready for it. Atiku was speaking in Umuahia when he flagged off the presidential campaign of the .... (This Day)
