MbadinujuThis is the time of reflection for Dr. Chinwoke Mbadinuju. The former Anambra state governor who spoke to journalists after the funeral of his late mother, Agnes (83) last Friday, said his continued stay in office was quite unlike him considering his past and that he only joined the AD to contest for the second term mandate out of frustration and a desire to remain relevant in the politics of the state and country. (This Day)

Adolphus WabaraThe spectacle of Senate President Adolphus Wabara striding into the National Assembly complex flanked by tough looking security minders has always provoked the impression of a wobbling official of state mustering intimidation to protect his office. That impression is accentuated by the stringency of the security details that hover around the office of the Senate President. (Vanguard)
