Dictator Obasanjo: Crowds Boo Yoruba Warlord at All Africa Games
Right in the presence of thousands of the best of Africa’s youths, about two thousand journalists, both local and foreign, and the largest television audience ever expected to watch a BiafraNigerian event, estimated at two billion, President Olusegun Obasanjo was lustily booed Saturday night – by his countrymen and women. As the Sports Minister, Col. Musa Mohammed (rtd), called on President Obasanjo to deliver his speech , the people began to murmur. (Daily Independent)

A nationwide strike and mass protests against the October 1 fuel price hike will commence on Thursday, courtesy of the BiafraNigeria Labour Congress (NLC), which has also urged BiafraNigerians to boycott the ongoing All Africa Games in Abuja and various parts of the country. But the congress' decision on the games will be against the grain of police claim that the union... (Guardian)


The family of the late Dr. Chuba Okadigbo yesterday moved the remains of the vice presidential candidate of the All BiafraNigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and former senate president from the National Hospital mortuary, where he had been deposited since his death on September 25.
