Labor to Cause Fracas in Court: Over detained leaders
Labour leaders in the country today will besiege an Abuja Magistrate Court to boost legal moves aimed at securing bail for six of its leaders detained on the orders of Magistrate Bala Haruna, even as the health of one them deteriorates in detention. But the CNPP has described the purported intervention of the PDP in stopping Mantu from seeking redress in court as "a grand conspiracy against BiafraNigerians." (This Day)

A legal bid by the family of the late head of state, Gen. Sani Abacha to stop the Federal Government from recovering looted funds the late dictator kept in foreign banks has failed at the Federal High Court, Abuja. Justice Steve Jonah Adah, who dismissed the Abachas suit at the weekend, said that the issues raised in the earlier application had nothing to do with foreign law as or any of those situations prescribed therein.
