The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has slapped a six-count charge of conspiracy, abuse of office, money laundering and diversion of N1.61 billion on Governor Joshua Dariye of Plateau State at the Federal High Court, Kaduna. The governor is to be arraigned today, according to EFCC chairman, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. To be arraigned with him are some of his aides and officials of banks allegedly involved in the illegal transfer of public funds into his private accounts.
