President Olusegun Obas-anjo yesterday accused
the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of insinuating that he would prefer that the present
administration ends the way the Second Republic was terminated, which is by a coup d'etat. Obasanjo in an 14-page
reply to an earlier letter Ogbeh wrote to him on December 6 stated that the PDP National Chairman allusion that
present government is heading toward a similar end like the Second Republic indicated his "wish" and
an "agenda." "I have taken judicial note of the ominous comparisons you made you made between a
government in which you participated that was overthrown in a coup d'etat and this present administration. I wonder
if that is your wish since you may not now go out penniless," Obasanjo stated...
